How do you calculate the monetary cost of my estimated annual consumption (EAC)?
It's a question many people ask and, from the outside, may seem very complex but when broken down, it really isn't too difficult to understand!
Your EAC is determined by the cost of your daily standing charge(s) multiplied by 365 days and the price per unit of your electricity and/or gas multiplied by your estimated energy use. (Based on accurate meter readings and historical energy consumption).
As we take payment for your energy in advance, we add an additional month’s cost to arrive at the Estimated Annual Consumption.
